Car won't start....
First post, and I feel like an idiot...
I have a 1991 Civic STD hatch with the stock dpfi system and now it wont start
Basically, I drove my car to work fine and when I went to go home it wouldn't start. My first thought was obviously the battery so I tried to pop the clutch and it still refused to start.
Wasn't the battery, the car turns over fine.
Got the car home and checked EVERYTHING I can think of.
The ECU is not throwing any codes, The spark plugs are firing, I replaced the entire distributor thinking it may have been the ignition coil rotor or some other part.
When I turn the key on to the second position I can hear the fuel pump, and I even have pretty good fuel pressure.
The car just refuses to fire.
I replaced the old 4 speed transmission with a 5 speed Si transmission some months ago and it ran fine afterword. I am at a complete loss as to what the problem could be.
