my friend just got a set of aftermarket struts and ground control coil overs after he installed them and put the car back down on the ground the struts are sticking up in the back and the front so now he cant close the hood. i was looking at it and noticed he didnt put bump stops on and was wondering if this was the problem. its a 1998 honda civic ek, any help would be apreciated thanks

 

He didn't assemble the strut correctly. He needs to put a washer on first, then the tophat and then the top washer and the nuts.
