I have searched high and low. I haven't been able to locate the answer I'm looking for.

Project:
Install a JDM H22A engine & LSD transmission into my 1998 Honda Prelude.

I am using the internal coil on the JDM H22A. There are 4 wires that go to the
crank sensor on the USDM H22A4. I need to wire those 4 wires to the distributor
where the crank sensor is on my JDM setup.

this is where my problem is... I can't seem to find any wiring diagrams for a JDM distributor to figure out where I need to run these 4 wires.


Is there anyone that can help me out or point me in the right direction? I've been searching for a few weeks now and haven't found my answer.

jdm h22 dont have a crank sensor..what your going to have to do is add the sensor and put the balancer pulley with it..

 

I'm very aware the JDM H22A does not have one. It's in the distributor. I stated that in my original post.

I'm also aware that i can rip everything apart and get a new oil pump, etc to have it setup like a USDM. too much work and the motor is already in. I can use the crank sensor in the distributor, it just needs to be wired.

I guess no one here is capable of helping me out All the info I've found on this particular swap is inconsistent and contradicts itself.

I did find some wiring diagrams and hopefully I'll get it figured out tonight and post a DIY on my situation so at least there's some accurate info for others to follow.

got it running. A LOT of electrical needed to be altered but she runs and doesn't throw any codes!!!! detailed write up coming soon!

 

so I am currently having the same problem you did by any chance did you end up posting that detailed write up

hey we know its old. Doesnt mean we aren't doing these swaps. Completing my first swap like this tomorrow.... just going with a f20b. but I am doing the oil pump swap and intake corrections so I dont have to worry about this wiring.

It just socks that all of these threads say they will do write up and then fall off. We get half details on it all. He's just trying to get some info that Noone is sharing after they actually gets it done it seems
