what kinda times were u pullin w/ ur car. was that hatch usin slicks, if not that would explain ur holeshot.

No he wasn't using slicks, I just like to rub it in that I beat him every race My best time was 9.81 which should translate to about 9.2-9.3 on a decent track near sea level.. madras's elevation supposedly makes a half-second difference in 1/8 mile (which is what they race there) so probably about a 14.3 quarter mile. A civic hatch w/ a b20Vtec, jg intake manny and header etc... hit 9.2.. a viper hit 9.1

our 1/8th is only like 1100ft or so, track still kinda sux though. i normally run 8.1s-8.2s at other tracks but best i can get outta our track is 8.4s on my slicks.

 

9.2... that is a horrible time for such a "built engine" and love the pics of the automatic accord that puts tire gel on his tires to get them spinning (refer to the top pic)

Jason Roley (the owner of the *primer* accord with the big ugly wing) Is the biggest joke in our area. If you notice in the second picture he is for some reason getting out of his window, that is the only way for him to get out of his car!!!!! He said he slid his car off the road a "130 MPH" (in his stock accord) and jammed the door shut!!!!

At the last import race a madras (on July 20th) Jason got in a huge fight with his parents over somthing, his dad ended up slaping him in the face infront of everyone, and his sister called the cops!!! My friend got the whole thing on video, its halarious!!!!

madras oregon, yeah its ghetto but the only thing that we have around here for like 2 + hours of driving

 

i dont care what might have happened, or how humorous it might be to some people, but blatently telling everyone about someone elses personal life.
if you people actually got to hang out with him a lil, he is a pretty cool guy. he might not have the coolest, nor the fastest car. but he is a pretty cool guy.

madras may not have the nicest strip in the area, and it may not be 1/4 mile, but its a track and someone is out there putting on an event for imports and that is good enough for me, I drive 2 1/2 hours every race to sit in the desert and drag race on an 1/8 mile track against 20 or fewer cars, but its still racing, and its legal, and even better its fun. When there are 4 tracks (that I know of ) in the whole state, and all of them are over 2 hours away I will go anywhere. But that is just my 2 cents. Plus I beat the GSR, actually he smoked me but he brokeout. Whats up guys, this is chris w/ the graphics see you this weekend at the SoundsFast show.

 

ive only been to madras once and it was basically nothing. never been to their track, never even knew they had a track. yeah its 1/8th, but thats how it is over here. closest 1/4 is 2 hrs away from me too. so i run the local monthly or bi monthly 1/8th events and then make my trips to yakima, woodburn, seattle, boise and spokane for the 1/4 mile tracks. id say that i like to test stuff out at our track but the damn thing just doesnt hook with my car so i never can experiment.

no, it was yrs ago. i was down there visiting my gf at the times aunt and uncle. went to bachelor for snowboarding.

 

another bold statement by someone who obviously knows nothin about weight. ur missing about 300lbs outta ur car than he is. based on ur 1/8th time it looks like ur using slicks. if nick could get that 60ft down a bit more he would theoretically b runnin 9.4s w/ an extra 300lbs.

Hey, bates is going down though Go check out his blue zx2. BTW, my 60ft's were 2.1s mostly. At PIR I hit 2.0s and that was with the stock clutch. Oh well.. we'll see what I run this weekend.
