Icon4 CRX D16A6 Mods?

Hello!! Does anyone know what I can do to my engine?? What type of Cam to get?? What Type Of Exhaust?? Headers?? Whats good?? I would like to either get a new engine or upgraded the crap out of it this one....But is it worth all the upgrades compared to a swap.......

Also does anyone have any good information for converting to rear disc brakes on a 89 HF CRX? I think its worth upgrading, it will save me on weight and braking power...

Thanks Happy New Years

Ps. Anyother good ideas? Lights-Rims-Suspension-Radiator-Turbo's-Cams-Tires-Exhaust-Headers-ECU-Sway Bars-ECT....

The drums are lighter, and better at stopping the car.

sp33 speaks the truth. the drums, WHEN PROPERLY ADJUSTED, do far better job of stopping the car. the problem is, however, that people do not adjust them properly and get the opinion that drums suck. i my self swapped to discs purely for the bling factor. i have my drums on my van adjusted quite well... so well that the difference between stopping with the parking brake vs the pedal is ALMOST un noticable.

couple things you can do that won't bleed your wallet dry is a decent cold air intake and an exhaust system that you are happy with the sound. Just make sure it is either a full header back or cat back exhuast set up. They together will give you anywhere from 15-45 HP. then you can go to internels for the motor and chip flashing.

I/H/E,cam,headwork,tuning

then if you want more look into increasing compression. always start with the head first.

stage 2 sr909 exospeed cam is a awesome street/strip cam and all around cam. great mid range and pull to 8k and does good without valve springs.
