i need help with posting pictures. im computer illiterate. i have pictures on my phone (samsung behold) that i need to post here on ht. i just created a account with photobucket if that helps. thanks.

 

First, upload your pictures to photobucket.

Then you need to get the URL (that's a website address, and it starts with http: ) for each photo you want to display in a post. There are several ways to do this; photobucket provides the address itself. Or, you can right-mouse-click on the photo, click on Properties, and it shows you the address. Wherever you're getting it from, copy the URL (you can do this by highlighting it and then pressing CTRL and C at the same time).

Then you can paste it into your post, as follows. Type your post up to the point where you want to put the picture. Then type:

[ img ]

but leave out any spaces. After that, paste the website address for your picture (you can do this by pressing CTRL and V at the same time). Then after that, type:

[ /img ]

while again, leaving out any spaces. That will insert your picture into your post.
