Default GSR Swap Questions

What's up guys? I swapped a OBD1 B18C1 into my CX hatch yesterday and I have a few questions I need to ask.

First one, is what are the nut sizes for the right motor mount (when facing the front of the car)?

What does this wire go to (near the rear mount on the backside of the engine)?

Can I pull this green sensor off my JDM D15B and replace it for the broken one on the GSR?

Thanks guys. More questions to come.

For the right mount nuts, I know what size they are. But what is the thread pattern? I thought it was 10 x 1.25, but I bought one of those and it didn't fit. Any other suggestions.

Also, what about the plug behind the motor that is pictured? Thanks.

Also, could I use my stock civic axles? Or would I have to have GSR ones?

you'll need integra axles and half shaft. that plug behind the motor looks like an o2 sensor plug.

Yeah, I did. I used the C-Speed one. Really good info. But I have a few questions it doesn't answer. Any other good guides out there?

Thanks slomofo, you from SA? I just left there a few weeks ago after living there for 4 and a half years.

Also, I have a 95 (ODB1) GSR and a 98 OBD2 ECU, so what distributor should I get?

Distributors don't matter, get the one that matches your wire harness. The distributors are the same, but one has two plugs, the other has one plug. The wire colors and internal components are all the same though even though the OEM distributor caps may look different on the outside.

And no, I don't live in San Antonio, I put that as my location to fool a couple people.

Okay, thanks. I'll need the OBD1 then.

And since I previously had a Vtec D15B in the car, what all would I need to do to install the Vtec with the GSR?

Wait so your converting your car to OBD2? If so then you will need an OBD2 dizzy, ecu conversion harness and such but it would be easier to just leave the motor and car OBD1 and just buy and OBD1 ECU.

Yeah, I'll have to buy one of those. I was just asking because the motor came with the 98 ECU. But I'm pretty sure the wire harness is OBD1.

About wiring vtec, how did you have it wired with the D15B? should use the same wires but I believe you will just have to add wires for the pressure switch if the D15B didnt have it(most D15B's dont).

Okay now, new question. How do I take of the TPS on the throttle body? It's got some weird type of screw/bolt/rivet holding it on.

I usually take and cut a slit on the top of the screw and use a flat head to get it off..

no, i used a saw on mine, but the throttle body was off of the car.. i guess you could use anything that will put kind of a deep slit on the top, just enough to use a flat head on it like a screw..

What does the screw look like? Is it like a torx with a hole in the center? If so they sell bits for that.

Well, I took care of the sensor problem. I just bought an aftermarket throttle body that comes with them. Thanks for the help guys.

And the first picture that has the o2 sensor, where does it plug into?

The swap I got didn't come with the plug that screws into the exhaust, so I won't be able to use the plug. I shouldn't have any problems driving the car besides an CEL for it huh?

But since my hatch came with a JDM vtec D15B, what all would I need to do wire the car properly for the OBD1 GSR ECU?
