Alright guys I put a JDM D15B head onto my b8 block and was wondering what tensioner and timing belt I should use? I tried the z6 timing belt and it was too loose and I tried the z1 and when i turn the crank it jumps off time.. So what is the best timing belt/tensioner set up for this?

i hope u checked ur pistons first.

 

^yea, are you sure you have 4 valve reliefs per piston?

it seems like the z1 belt would work. i used it on my d15b7/d15b vtec mini me... it worked perfect... at first the tensioner was being a pain... and it turned out i was a cam tooth off... but its been on for 3 days now. no problems.
