I'd say before you build it get block posts. I'm running a stock sleeve bored .20over and regret not doing this before I put it together. I guess I'll see how far I can push it with the setup I have soon.Oh well too late now, but if I could do it again I would have put in block posts to save myself some possible headache.

Sounds like a hell of a build, good luck with it!! I would have personally started with a B and built from there. To each his own.

My advice to you is to determine which tuner you'll be using and ask him which ECU/EMS he's most comfortable or familiar with and then get that one.

That right there in mo is the BEST advice given so far. We can tell you the ecu's that we like and love tuning with but not all tuners are the same. You will be putting ALOT of trust into your tuner why not let him pick what he or she is most comfortable with. BTW great parts list for the build good luck.

i had thought of doing this but it was to late...i had already bought some parts so i had no option to go further with it..besides when i saw some of these d series on youtube the dyno results were crazy..thats what really opened up my eyes, some single cams are making same if not more than b series... i was just hoping to get 300hp out of the build thats reliable..
