2000 accord lx v6 starts then stalls right away
Hi H-T,
I have a 00 v6 Lx Automatic. The car was driving fine until I tried starting the car at the mall, the car would start but in a split second the car would stall. I tried again but stepped on the gas right away to keep it revved then quickly put in drive and it worked, it idle perfect. it drives perfectly fine after I do that even at lights when car is stopped.
The check engine light came on, and the codes were; P0301, P0304, P0405, P0300, and p1399. All pretty much misfires. the codes were cleared, check engine light didn't come back but problem is still there when we start it.
I am starting to think it could be the IAC valve or the FITV because it only happens at start up, and the revving and putting in drive remedies it. Does anybody else have any experience with this?
This is my Girlfriend's DD and we need to fix this asap, we appreciate any help troubleshooting this problem.

if you remove the air hose to the throttle body, and look in the throttle body, you should see a little hole. Thats where air goes into the IAC. On the outside of the TB on the same side with the whole, you should see a sensor looking thing screwed on. Thats the IAC. Should have a couple of screws holding it in place iirc.
