Your asking two different things in this post.
1. "picked up a crx si and decided to swap the dash into my ef"- in my opinion crx dashes do look good in ef hatches...
2. " but will my ef si dash fit into the crx"
So which question r u asking?

I think he's just trying to find out if the dash from the hatch will fit in his CRX, which is now, or will soon be without a dash. I've never done a dash swap, myself, but it makes sense that it would fit, considering the CRX dash fits in the hatch. Personally, I would source out a second CRX dash. In the same way the CRX dash makes the hatch look nicer, I think the Civic dash would have a negative aesthetic bearing on the CRX. People would get in the hatch and go, "ooooooooh, ahhhhhhh," then, when they get in the CRX, they would be like, "what the ****?"

91 EF (SI) DASH FIT INTO MY 91 (CRX).now if you wanna get
all technical yes i mint my 91 ef si (hatchback).
Your not getting a straight answer because they want you to say "Will my 1991 USDM Civic Si dashboard go into my 1991 USDM CRX?" If you call a usdm Civic or CRX an "EF" these guys will give you **** because TECHNICALLY it's not an "EF" if it is usdm. Eventually they will make it a rule to refer to a cars chassis strictly for what it is. It's like when someone posts up pics of their car and say "Hey check out my EF" and a bunch of smartass people say "I don't see an EF..."
Obviously everybody knows what they mean but people try to be dicks about it. Oh well. But seriously, try rephrasing your question like I did and you will get a response very quickly.

all i'm saying ef SI onto my crx isn't explaining anything because theirs also an ef crx si.
ef si = hatchback but
ef si = crx also
so what are youtalking about
now that you said ur hatchback onto the crx then yeah it should fit because i've seen it vice-versa but then again come to think about it i've never seen a crx with a hatchback dash...
if you were saying like my si hatchback onto my crx then it's much of a clearer question your asking.
i'm not giving u **** but it did confuse me.
