hey folks!

i've got a JDM Civic VTi 98 (EK3 with D15B engine and CVT)

everything was good with it until lately when the engine started to stall while taking off

it happened when i started the engine at night on my job parking after a workday. the temp outside was about 14F

i supposed that my fuel meter malfunctioned due to cold weather and there was too little fuel in the tank, so i hardly got to a filling station. engine almost stalled on the run several times and finally stalled right nearby the station. i put about 3g into the tank. however the engine completely refused to start again.

then i managed to take the car to a friend's garage and waited until warmer weather to try starting it again. the engine still doesn't start. we checked that the fuel pump is functioning. we also got spark (inspected visually by taking the plugs out ). unfortunately we don't have any special inspection tools and there are problems with brand service in our city (not USA), so I'm trying to figure out a reason myself. any ideas would be greatly appreciated.
