ok so i have no idea wat the problem is but whenever i get into high rpms around 5000 my engine completley stalls and acts like it wants to give up any suggestions......i was thinkin it had something to do wit vtec but i dont beileve thts it when i say stall its like my motor give up there and u have no more power but when u change gears to the next gear it works fine.....its a 1998 honda civic ex d16 y8

 

check engine lights? you mean you just lose a bit of power in the top end or your motor litteraly studderes if its just a power los at top end id check vtec or speed sensors also check codes that will help if theres a check engine light
