Hey I have a mystery problem witht my 92 civic just seeing if any one could help or offer some advice. As limited expereince with cars

I just put a new clutch in my civic and now when im driving it when i accelerate it feels like the clutch is slipping (well actually its more like chattering sound) the result is there is no or very slow acceleration. It has nothing to do with the clutch though im pretty sure because the engine dosnt rev up which would educate slipping. My possible thoughts are it has something to do with fuel injection or possibly a restriction of air flow, im really not sure thought just putting that out there.
