Icon6 b18b1 into 1990 DA

I am going to purchace a b18b1 out of a 1998 integra. What do I need for this b18b1 to fit in my 1990 DA.

I have the alternator, dizzy, intake mani, exhaust mani, starter, all the engine mounts. tranny from a b18a1.

I kept the flywheel off my b18a1 and scraped the block of the engine. It was blown. The b18b1 is standard. So all i have to do it put my auto flywheel on and take the standard flywheel off????

Thank you.

yes.. everything will fit.. you can use the longblock (head and block), and just bolt your intake manifold, accessories, etc etc..

It will all bolt up with your stock mounts.. for sure.. they are damn near the same motor..

I did a B18B swap into my DA. For the driver side mount you will need to change over the piece that bolts between the block and the mount. It is at a different angle. Take of the timing belt cover and install the one from your B18A. You can swap you dizzy, intake, etc. and run the engine on the stock OBD0 ECU but the engine will run rich. This is the problem I'm having. It runs fine for the most part, just rich, throws a CEL once in a while. I'm looking for a OBD1 ECU so I can convert.

no need for dealer. go to your local junkyard and pick one up. good luck on your swap.

simple swap, me and my budy just did it in his da. but like said before it would be a good idea to convert your motor to obd0 or get the obd1 ecu.

I am pretty sure that if you have the obd0 distributor and alternator you should be good. but I have neither worked with an obd2 or an obd0 motor. If you need more than that you will have to buy the obd0 parts and put them on the obd2 block they should fit.

yea i have everything from the 0bd0 to put in the 0bd2. but the intake mani, alternator, and headers will stay on the b18b1. because they will fit with my DA. and i can use my obd0 dizzy on the obd2 aswell.correct me if im wrong.

the 2009 is pushing 1100hp roughly. he just got new parts so the hp is more.
