yes.. 100% why... i have tint on my DA, and cats are always staring it down.. They just want to see if you have anything else.. people that tint usually have beat.. lol
Good news is, there are hundreds of ways to disable your vehicle with little to no money at all. First of all, invest in a clutch lock. Usually if thieves see this, they won't even bother. A club isn't as effective since a steering wheel is easily cut through.
Secondly, my friend leaves his ECU unbolted and takes it out of the car when he parks in shady areas. This may be a bit much for an everyday task, so I would recommend hooking a hidden switch to the FI main relay.

yeah..i use a clutch lock.. unless they are going to push start it from first and slip shift away, or tow it, they arent taking it.. they wont even try to take it off.. its not worth having your head stuffed in the car and getting hit with a batt when your not looking..
and yes.. I have, and will continue to hit thieves with a batt... very swiftly and full of vengeance...

Anything that draws attention to your car will draw the attention of thieves. One reason is just that it makes your car stand out more, and another is that it makes them wonder what else you might have done. I believe the most valuable parts of the car to thieves are things like the block, head, and transmission, and these are going to be present in every Integra, which is why they say that your car is a target no matter how it looks. That said, things like JDM front ends and pricey conversions make for big targets because they are valuable on the black market. I also suspect that many aftermarket performance parts are more valuable than their OEM counterparts. Basically, if you are worried about your car keep a low profile and keep it well protected with a multi-stage theft deterrent system.
