so before anybody tells me to search i already have. i found similar stuff but no answer to my question

i have an 88 crx si but i want the 91 front bumper. is it a straight switch or do i also need the fenders and hood from the 90-91?

i have been told both ways...
"yes you need everything"
and...
"no you only need the bumper"

what do i need to do to get that bumper on my car!!!?

 

You only need the bumper!No need to swap nothing else.

 

and it just bolts staight up?

yes 100% sure,and yes 88 89 bumper lights wont fit on 90 91 bumpers.

yup, to swap u only need the bumper and the bumper lights. the hood/fenders/corners/headlights are all fine.

 

You have to cut the bumper to make the fog lights fit
