Why are you running 60 pounds of pressure. If you don't have the instructions for the FPR-call B&M or maybe someone here can help you set it. You should be closer to 40 pounds for a stock motor. Also, check that all of the vacuum lines are connected correctly.

since u took the dizzy and put a new one in... did u make sure the engine its on the right timing??? that might be why its not staying on.....
as for fuel pressure 60 psi its wayyyyyyyyyyy to high... u need to take it down to like 40 psi..... use a 12mm wrench i beleive, and loose the nut on top of the FPR, right on the middle of the nut , theres a screw....turn the screw , and watch the fuel go down..... when u get to the desired psi, turn the nut so u can lock the bolt.... thats easy....

is this for a b&m fpr because there is a nut on the top and are you talking about the screw the nut is on?

You loosen the locknut and then turn the shaft that the nut is circling (the nut doesn't do anything for the pressure). If you look closely at that shaft you'll notice it has two flat spots on it for an eensy wrench.
