ok so right now im running on this crappy dual point engine in my sedan, i want to go single cam v! im debating weather to get a d16z6 or a d16y8. umm hp isnt big difference, so whats the major difference between this two? what would you guys go with?

yea i have done my own swaps before, i dont have much to spend right now, im just looking at my options and slowly build it, im in no rush

 

There are alot of these swap opinion threads popping up. I am sure the F.A.Q. covers this

 

yo bro go d16z6 thats what im running and i only paid 500 for tranny and motor bro offof ht

 

i would go with the z6 since the y series engines are more prone to spun rod bearings from oiling issues.
