is a d16z6 header and o2 sensor the same as a d16y8 header an o2 sensor. i found a good deal on a d16z6 header and o2 sensor an wanna put it on my y8. yes/ no.? ...

 

Ya, go get it. The bolt holes are the same at the exhaust ports. If you're iffee about the O2 sensor from the Y8, than you could switch the Z6 O2 sensor and put it on the Y8 OE header or vice-versa! It's been done before, make sure you check the back of the OE header for "hair-line" cracks or any where on the header.

 

Yeah I would go with the D16Z6 exhaust manifold. It flows better then a D16Y8 manifold.
