i have a 89 dx/std harness and a si harness out of a 91 crx si...the distributor clips on the dx/std harness look totally different then the si..is there something wrong with my dx/std harness or are they different need to know thanks

 

yesi beleive they are totalt different thats why they say use an si dizz when going to mpfi

 

but my question is if u use the si dizzy for the conversion do u convert the clips from an si as well? like i said the look different from the dx std to the si they both look diff

 

the dizzy and the wire harnest are different from dx to si

 

i understand the dizzy and harness are different but the acutal distributor clips themselves are the dx harness clips and the si harness clips for the dizzy different...i no the dizzy and harness are but the actual harness clips?

sry if im confusing any1 but the anwsers u guys are giving me are not in depth i no i sound like an idiot i just wanna make sure my dx harness is fudged up

 

If you are converting to MPFI,

Then get the round connector from an SI engine harnesss
and repin it to the DX/STD engine harness..
