Default crx with b18c1

Hi everyone posting this up for my brothers CRX, he is running a b18c1 with an pR3 obd0 setup car turns over but doesn't start up, there is fuel (checked the sparks plugs all four and I smell fuel) and spark. He told me he was driving and on a stop light as he put it in neutral it just died and wouldn't start up anymore. I checked all the fuses and none of them are blown check the main relay and it clicks, I can also here the fuel pump prime. Also there is no check engine light and I jumped the ECU to check out if it had any stored codes and it did not. I am out of ideas and I either can't find or identify any other relays in the cabin that could be stopping it from starting. I will post up a link or try to ebbed a video here later on today as my camera is not charged enough. Thanks in advance-Joel

its most likely ur ignition coil, even when u have/see spark it usually isn't a great enough spark to work properly. so change that out or use a buddys to test it and see if that works

To mrharmonic, wouldnt it be less beneficial to run a sohc vtec ecu? not to mention im obd0 and I do not want to mess with converting anything right now, besides the pr3 is for an obd0 dohc vtec motor that makes it an obvious and better choice, no? any way ill try to swap igniters thanks again-Joel

I would not run a PR3 ecu on a B18C engine, different maps!!!

The pr3 needs a obd0 1st gen b16a dizzy, and also a signal from 2 single wire o2 sensors, is the car even set up this way?

Also....the pr3 ecu "will NOT" open the secondaries of the intake manifold on the B18C1.....your setup won't work properly
