Hi first time here first time going to attempt to do this one. i have a 92 b18a1 with tranni complete front suspension and all e.c.m also. i tried to sit it in but it wont mount up what do i need to do or what tranny can i use to make it an easy fix. it is going to be my sons birthday gift i have till april to finish this project PLEASE HELP!!!!!!!!!!!

 

I don't what your exact question is but you must you the tranny that came with the B18A1 to make it work, and to swap a B-Series into a CRX you have to purchase B-Series Mounts, B-Series (for 88-91 Civic/CRX) shift linkage, and I might be forgetting some other stuff.

This info should get you started though.

 

i pulled the complete front end off the 92 integra so it would be a direct swap but the motor mounts up but the tranny mount wont mount up its about three inches off cause the tranny hits the rack and pinion housing and wont let the tranni mount up

 

you need B series swap mounts to get that engine in

 

you need to use your stock engine harness ..and the tranny from the b18!
shift linkage custom or buy an aftermarket such as avid
b series swap mount like hasport,avid

 

Do you know any web sites i can get those from or what other honda mounts i could use them off of.

So those mounts will work out of a 91civic hatch so they need to be B-SERIES or will D-series mounts work also

 

ok any cable b series tranny will work, if is b series and its cable it works. now for mounts yes you need the d to b conversion mounts like thatHEMIguy stated. go on ebay and pick up sum cheap ones, it will save you money definitely. so no d series mounts will work!!!

Avid shift linkage (for B-Series) CRX
B-Series Motor Mounts (The generic Yonaka brand will run you about $130 shipped, while the higher quality Hasport, Avid etc will be around $200+)
