Default DA6 w/B20V GSR header & stock DA exhaust

I have a 90 integra with a B20 Vtec swap. The head on my set up is from a GSR. I have a Comptech GSR header that I want to use but obviously doesn't meet up to the stock exhaust length. Is there a direct fit catalytic convert from a GSR series integra that will fix my gap issue?

I believe a B20 has a higher deck height than other B-series. You'll probably need a B20 header or something custom. A regular B20 header should fit your GSR head. Try the hybrid forum. Good luck.

Seeings how you already have the header, and length is your only issue I'd just buy an aftermarket High flow cat. You should be able to find it with the correct flanges, but if not you might have to weld new ones on. Another option would be to bolt the cat direct to your header, and fab an extension onto the actual exhaust. Or maybe a test pipe.

I had the same issue when I swapped a gsr motor in my da. I installed the header and drove to a local exhaust shop. If i remember right they charged $40-50 to make the connection.

Thanks for the info. I have a high flow cat on the way. I'll have a shop fab a connection. While I'm at it I'll upgrade to 2 1/2 cat back.
