I have never made a build thread before so please bear with me. I was browsing craigslist the other day like I always do and I found a Del Sol with a blown headgasket for $800. After a bunch of bs trying to get ahold of the guy I finally ended up picking it up for $650. 1993, S model, 185k. Here is pics of it the first day I had it home.





Turns out the thermostat gasket was not seated, not a blown headgasket. 5 mins later I had the car up and running. I was having a problem with no low end power (under 3.5k). I replaced the plugs, cap, rotor and fuel filter with no prevail. (already had new wires on it) Turns out the ignitor was bad, swapped that out and runs like a champ.

Then I ganked the parts off of my eg for the delsol. Here is what the hatch looked like before..... sportmax 15x8 +0, 195/50/15

and after..... Donk! ha. Will be lowered back down on the dr9's shortly.



D2 full coilovers, skunk 2 camber arms, Custom rear camber kit, Omni Power LCA's, ASR Polished brace, Drag DR9's..... (suspension techniques sway bar going on soon)




Then my tires finally came in and I mounted up my sportmax 501's, 15x8 +15, 195/45/15












I've worked on the car 3 days and this is where I'm at. I will be installing a lip ASAP. I still need to install my suspension technique rear sway, momo hub, nrg quick release and sparco wheel. The night pics is after I buffed it out today. Turned out pretty good. Anyway, let me know what you guys think and im open to any suggestions you may have. Thanks for looking!
