Default direct fit omni power s2k clutch master cylinders for eg/ek

So in the efforts to clean up the engine bay in my 97 civic I looked into buying a s2000 clutch master cylinder. The benefit of running the s2k over the stock is that the reservoir sits on the cmc with the s2k unit, rather than on the shock tower with a hose connecting to the cmc like the stock unit. You get alot cleaner and neater look and also free up space for other things.

Prior to considering the s2k unit I was running the omni power eg/ek cmc. I loved it to death so naturally i decided to sell the eg/ek cmc and pick up a omni power s2k cmc. Upon installing it i ran into a problem, the shaft on the s2k unit is a tad longer. I did some research and a couple of guys were puttting spacers to push the pedle assembly back some. Another option was to rethread the shaft 1/2", this seemed to be the practical way to go. I ended up rethreading the shaft and it works fine.

So I notified Steve at omni power about this and asked him if he would consider making a s2k style cmc that would have a shorter shaft. This would be a bolt on unit for the eg/ek chassis, no need for rethreading or spacers . He told me if I got enough interest he would consider making this. So I made this thread to see who would be interested in purchasing a omni power s2k style cmc that would be complete bolt on to the eg/ek chassis?

This is not for everyone! This is for those people looking to clean up the engine bay and gain some performance at the same time. Thanks for looking

Jonathan

Your best bet would be to post this in the tucked thread but I suspect most of those guys will most likely want the oem s2k unit.I myself am going to be picking one up really soon. There are also a couple of links in there to a billet aluminum spacer that is available for the clutch master .

hmm no interest? might have to move this to the tuck section as you said. I see you guys are buying the oem s2k unit plus another $45 for the spacer. for around the same price you can get an omni power direct fit unit seems like a no brainer.

I think the reason everyone gets the oem unit is nothing beats their quality and and we all know honda parts can stand up to abuse.

Well nobody can argue that honda has quality parts that last. Have you driven a car with the omni power quicklutch? You will be suprised! It has stood up to my abuse till this day. Including my previous one (eg/ek) version which i sold to get the s2k unit. I also have a couple buddys running them with no problems what so ever.
