Default car only fires once while cranking

so i was changing out my engine harness and didnt take the terminals off and one of the wires grounded out on the block , so now it only sparks once when i start to crank it , someone told me it is the ignition module does anyone know anything about this

bingo! either the ICM or the ecu... when the ICM receives a signal from the ecu then the ICM supplies power to the ignition coil to fire accordingly

so did you ever have any luck fixing this?

my car is having trouble starting but does after a few cranks. It chugs though at first and almost dies unless I gas it. Once it warms up it is ok - maybe idling a little high around 1500rpm - B18C5 jdm.

I rechecked all of my grounds today and same problem. I also replaced the cap and rotor already - I am now wondering if it is my Ignition Control Module or the coil...

any thoughts?
