Anyone using the AEM fuel rail??? got a problem....
OK so I have the fuel rail installed, along with the AEM FPR mounted on the right side of the rail. Now, there is another screw(an allen screw) that is not used(I dont think anyway) and fuel is seeping out around that screw. I have tried to tighten that screw down so much thats its not even flush with the rail and its recessed into the rail, but still leaks. Is there some kinda seal or lube **** I should be using for that screw? Did I miss something here? Or is it maybe a defect?? any help is appreciated.
use liquid teflon. works better than tape and it won't rip apart. or if you want mount a fuel pressure gauge there. thats sort of what the hole is for.
Make sure everything is tightened with the correct torque specs with torque wrench. My buddy had a leak and it was because it was overtightened....we checked torque specs and it stopped leaking afterwords...same situation...aem fuel rail.
