Price is negotiable. Yes you will need to spend money to fix the head gasket. Total cost for the swap would be about $1000 when your done, assuming your swapping into a D series equipped civic.
$46 for a head gasket kit
$60-80 to mill the head
$94 for head studs

I've been working on cars for many years. I'd trust my work over anyone else's any day.
I will have a shop do the milling on the head. But the head gasket installation I will do myself.
