Hey guys, I got a Tom Tom for Christmas. I might just mount it on the inside of the windshield like most people do, but I also wanted to see where other people have mounted their gps in 96-00 Civics. Just seeing if any other options spark my interest, thanks guys.

 

i use the suction cup and put it right in the center of my cluster, so i can still see my rpm and gas, my gps also tells me my mph's and it's pretty accurate..

Yeah, it really is, haha. I searched the forum and google, and I saw some good ideas for the 8th gen civic, as well as many other cars. I figured I would ask for my specific year civic.

 

Check the laws in your state if you mount it to the windshield. Some states require you to mount it low on the passenger or driver's side corner of the windshield. So in the middle is a no-no.

 

mount it on the car cieling, lol just kidding i like the windshield the best

 

I put mine on the driver's side corner, low enough that it's almost touching the dash. Works perfectly for me.

 

I do the same. That's the only legal way if you mount it to the windshield. And those suction cups do hold if you wet them a little. I doubted them at first, but that is the way to go unless you can mount it in the dash.
