Does anyone know if the 2003 Acura TL non S type has factory high flow cats on it? I have a 140k currently and would like to put on high flow cats to improve fuel economy.

Type-S doesn't have high flow cats.
Integra Type-R doesn't have a high flow cat.
NSX-R doesn't have high flow cats.
Civic Type-R doesn't have a high flow cat.
Prelude Type-S doesn't have a high flow cat.
Accord Type-R doesn't have a high flow cat.
Hell even the Jaguar S-Type R doesn't have high flow cats.
Lamborghinis don't have high flow cats.
Ferraris don't have high flow cats.

Are you sure? I heard that the newer Acuras have them. Of course mine does not qualify as newer. Would anyone suggest a good HFCC and the best place to purchase one?

 

If you're looking for more power, you're looking in the wrong places. Regardless of what magazines might say, some items such as high flow cats don't do much on the dyno.
