Icon7 all motor gsr 2.0

Hi, im a new fish around here to be pasiont.

Im in the proses of building an all motor gsr 2.0

i was thinking of useing a
b20b crank
b18b rods
b16b pistons
and shave 20 thousands of the block

i was plaing on useing the b20 because its a 2.0 motor and the ls rods since i read that thier better than using gsr rods. and the b16b pistons since thier a bigger bore to make since of the 2.0

for the head i was thinking of
10 thousand shaved (resurfaced)
jun stage 3 vtec cams
crower retainers
dual valve spring
titanium valves

i was just woundering of any opinions on wat i should do i like to build sumthing makeing sence on paper first then buying stuff so its les of a head aqe,

if u dont have nuttin nice to say please dont write it

You probably want to PM a mod and ask him to move this to the all motor section of the forum, it's not model specific. That's also where all the gear heads seem to hang out.

are you using a GSR block or a b20 block? You need to sleeve a gsr to make it a 2.0

Just stick to the b20 and use the RS machine ITR piston. I don't believe they make a CTR piston in 84mm or bigger. Just 81mm and slightly oversized. You don't need titanium valves, the stock ones will do just fine.

im assuming when u say ur building a GSR ur meaning the B18, and assuming this when u say ur using a B20 block it leaves the true GSR realm.. am i thinking correctly here?

I know with ctr and itr pistons, When you run a big cam you have to worry about piston to valve clearence.

I would highly look into doing the math your comp ratio, from what your looking at it'll be utterly un runable on any gas station fuels.

GSR rods are stronger then OEM LS rods.

What are you going to use the motor for?

I would suggest mozilla firefox as a new web browser, namely for the spell check option

With that said, you need to do more research, as a b20 crank won't give you 2.0L displacement... its the additional bore that makes that happen. Manny touched on this, but you didn't seem to grab the hint

First of all you need to use spell check.... then for your engine build that's another issue....
Welcome to honda-tech..... LOL

B16b piston are 81mm, maybe you mean itr style piston from RS Machine..
for your block you need oversize rod bolts, new type-r oil pump, new water pump, new OEM timing belt...

what i/m and header are you going to be using?
