Default HELP! Car dies at high RPM

Have a 95 EG with a JDM B16a motor. Regular bolt ons. I/H/E and was chipped but took it off and was running a VAFC2 controller. Anyways was having some fun last night on our week car cruises in Hawaii and when I reach 6k rpm my car just dies. Pulled over and tryed to start it up. It starts up in a few cranks. And it's been doing it since. What is wrong with it? Is it just a sensor problem, wire harness or a big motor problem? Lmk asap guys. Thanks for the help.

seems like something is getting over heated and not working. id would start by testing the ignition coil, then trying a friends ignitor. then i would ditch the vafc and get my ecu chipped and tuned for my setup.

Yah. Sounds like it. I just recently change my dizzy and just took out my VAFC and reconnect connect all the ecu wire back. Cus I was tryin to put it back to stock. And my car was overheating alot due to fan not turning on. And just last night I can't pass 100 mph.
