okay not actually flushing it but i just changed the atf.

should i drain and fill again after 1000 miles? i want to do 3 drain and fills to get a clean flush but i dont know the intervals in doing so.

You don't have to go 1000 miles. You only need to cirulate the new fluid with the old, which should be done within 5 miles. Make sure the transmission shifts through every gear, including reverse, a few times, and you should be ready for the second drain and fill. What condition was the fluid in, when you drained the first 3 quarts? If the fluid was dark, and the magnet (on the drain plug) was a blob of metal, yes I would do it again.

 

well it was brown but still transparent brown. as if it was dirty from the original red color, but im not sure if original honda atf was used but all i remember was that the atf was transparent brown.
