Well I recently swapped in a "mini me" (z6 head & b8 block) I ran it a few times without vtec or the o2 sensor wired and it seemed to run fine. But ever since I wired vtec and the o2 sensor it has ran bad. I will start it and the idle will be high. I'll let it run for a few minutes then drive it for maybe like 5 mins. I notice that the response is kind of delayed. Then I will turn it off and it wont start after like it's flooded or something. So then I will let it sit for the night and the next morning it starts but has the same symptoms. I'm just confused on where I should start troubleshooting.

Possible things that could have caused it:
1)When I first attempted to wire vtec i de-pinned the wrong wires because i counted the wrong way on the plug.
2)Something to do with the 02 sensor?
3)Gas has sat in the car for a LONG time.

Symptoms:
1)Black spark plugs
2)Exhaust smells like gas really bad
3)Higher idle than normal
4)weird throttle response
5)Car won't start again unless it sits for a while

I'm trying to get this figured out so I can get my car running good so if anyone can help I'd appreciate it. Thanks
