Default Keyless/alarm in a DX

Hello ad Merry Christmas everyone!
I have a 97 DX coupe and after a buddy's car got stolen, I think it's really time for an alarm. I've been searching/checking out the FAQ section, and it seems that if I install lock actuators and an alarm with keyless entry, I'll have keyless entry. Is this the case? Where should I get actuators? Lastly, does anyone have recommendations for alarm systems? Thanks!

Yep, all you need are two actuators for the doors and you could put a solenoid in the trunk to pop it remotely if you wanted to. There are so many brands out there but most are related in the fact they are owned by the same parent company...

its easy to install on a DX...is it auto? If so, add the remote start while you are at it.

you can buy a combo unit that will do all in one or different components that will do it individually but still with one remote.

You can install a remote start on a manual as well.

Not really. It just requires that you connect a lead to the door switch and parking brake.

I am thinking of personally installing an alarm in my car.
I am not sure if I am going to do it though.

A smart person wouldve said "The day I get a Honda is the day I get an alarm".

My car had an alarm installed before any mod touched it, and my brother drove 20 miles with a blown head gasket to get his alarm.
