FS/FT: 1996 Honda Civic DX Hatchback
This was going to be my project car for the next year but I've decided to go further with the Volkswagen. Keep in mind that this is a project car.

-Shaved D16 Valve Cover (Needs to be painted)
-Autometer Cluster Gauge Pod Surround
-'96-'98 Taillights
-P06 Chipped ECU - Needs work
-Other B-Series items and wiring harnesses
I bought the engine from ryansDc5. The motor runs great but does have two small oil leaks at the front main seal/oil pan gasket and the VTEC solenoid gasket. Needs a driver's side motor mount and torque mount. Both are torn. The ECU does throw three codes that don't set off the MIL. They're for issues with emissions related controls. Due to this, the car will not pass emissions in the state of Missouri. The car also has a rev limit set to 5,700 RPMs. I think due in part to the codes being thrown.
The exterior is in decent shape. Typical dings here and there. The only rust on it is very minor and can hardly be seen on the lip of the driver's quarter panel and a tiny spot of surface rust on the driver's side A pillar due to a scratch. The surface rust could be fixed with just a little bit of sandpaper and touch-up paint. The front bumper has a crack in it and the paint on the spoiler is oxidized. The rear wiper is uninstalled.
The interior needs some work. The rear seats and interior are gone and won't be able to be reinstalled without a little work. Various plastic items are missing from the center console and dashboard. The window crank is missing on the passenger side window. The driver's side window jumps off track when you roll it down. The plastic pull for the hood release is broken, but the release is still in good working order. The A/C and heater do not work. A/C was uninstalled and the heater core needs to be replaced as it leaks coolant inside the vehicle. The heater core is currently bypassed. There is no stereo installed in the car. The entire car is Dynamat'd as well. The washer fluid reservoir is deleted.
The suspension is all in good shape. I've recently had it apart and put anti-seize on all of the bolts, so the rear LCAs shouldn't give you any trouble.
The brakes could probably use some work. They operate great, but I'd suggest new front rotors, rear drums, and rear shoes.
The wheels and tires are good. Newer tires and very minimal scaring on the wheels. The passenger rear tire has a small flat spot on it from my ebrake getting stuck when the temperature dropped.
Asking Price: $2,000. Lowballers and trades welcome, so tell me what you got and we can possibly work out a deal.

As far as trades go, I could be interested in just about anything. Mainly I'd like to trade for a set of nice 5-lug wheels plus or minus cash on my end depending on what they are. (Work, BBS, Desmond, etc.).
