Garage Transmission Swap
I am looking to swap a transmission out of my prelude. I am replacing my standard M2J5 with a M2A4 with LSD and M Factory 5.15.
I have done this job in a shop with access to a lift. I no longer have access to that lift.
Has anyone done one of these in a home garage without a lift?
If so, How did you get the car up high enough to get the tranny out from underneath?
Any tips would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you

Jack the car up like you would for an oil change. If you need, put some wood or something on the jack to get it up higher, then put your jack stands on. If you have access to a motorcycle jack, that will work great to lower the tranny out. Something like this:
It will just require a lot of shaking and wiggling, but it will come out lol.

Thanks. That is what I thought. I have everything but the motorcycle jack. I can use my hydraulic jack once it is up on the jack stands. TY
