It's a C-Pillar bar. For one, it DOESN'T go where the struts mount on our hatch's. It bolts to where the rear seat belts bolt up to the c-pillar hence why its called a C-Pillar bar. Most are garbage and gay. I have a Megan C-Pillar bar. From my opinion, I dont feel much of a difference. I want the EMracing triangulated bar. Here's a picture of my hatch with it on.....

I am talking about a CRX the car is form JAPAN the metal is weak. So if you make the body stiffer by putting bars in it then it wouldn't flex as much as it does.
Look it up IDEA.
What do you mean when you say the metal is weak? Are you saying that metal from Japan is weaker than metal from over here?
So if you make the body stiffer by putting bars in it then it wouldn't flex as much as it does.
Also you would want to place a reinforcement point in an area that isn't already enforced.
Verdict: DRY CLEANING FTW.

OP that bar isn't gonna do anything to help chassis strength enough to the point where you're gonna feel a difference.

Ok so you are saying that the metal on the 88-91 CRX's or even ANY JAPAN car is stronger then Ford or GM's or any other US car maker metal??? WOW i'm talk to alout of ****ing idea's here. So why do they make SO MEANY tow bar's and strut bar for JAPAN cars and in US cars you Really don't need it???? Is it because it looks more JDM because that's what EVERYONE do in JAPAN so we HAVE TO DO IT HERE... WOW i'm out of here. Honda-tech has nothing but ***s & Puerto Rican i'm goin to www.clubcivic.com.
What?

Since when is Japanese metal weak? This isn't China we are talking about.
Since when do our cars flex? And if we did have a flex problem, after 20 years hatch's wouldn't close, neither would hoods or doors.
Also you would want to place a reinforcement point in an area that isn't already enforced.

they're useless but imo they look kinda cool, i'm sure pretty soon kids will start to custom paint those like the engine bays and put stickers on it and hang weird stuff to it and then those bars will turn trendy, running out of ideas

Chasis stiffening bars have nothing to do with the quality of the metal used in the car, they are an attempt, often in vain, to compensate for some structural compromises needed to make a car suitable for passengers. While most aftermarket bars are of little effect, domestics need them just as much as imports, all race cars whether import or domestic need roll cages. To suggest that Japanese steel is somehow inferior is simply wrong.

+1 to looks, +/- .2 to function. And its not ok to compare structural integrity of an older modle muscle car, such as a chevelle or some shiz, to a sport compact, such as a civic or rex, .... and dont even try to defend urself cuz thats exactly what you were thinking. And for that, you sir are a fail.
