yes use si harness use y8 mani(best stock honda mani for best power achievement d series wise STOCK) get the y8 dizzy, the conversion harness for obd1 and get a p28 or get the pm6 chipped. all the other stuff is self exp. and remove the oil jet on the block between cyl's 2 & 3

well, this is all covered in the FAQ stickied @ the top of this section, search mpfi conversion, but since in a good mood : )

Easier to convert ur orig dpfi engine harness than using an si model's unless using ENTIRE wiring harness,or repinning alot of shiz! (which is why dpfi 2 mpfi conversion easier!)

The ecu, dizzy, injectors must match what OBD ur running. The PM6 ecu needs OBD0 + either a TD02U (from d16a6 crx si or civic ex) or TD18U dizzy (crx hf) Both bolt directly up to y8 head. Injectors from d16a6 (OBD0) also to match the pm6 you have. (or p28 ecu OBD1 + jumper harness)

Y8 mani best oem for boost (have to extend a couple of sensor wires during mpfi conversion) Told Z6 int mani best oem for NA

And one shorter than rest headbolt from the orig b2 (or the custom ARP set some vendors have made up if using studs) for the closest to firewall, outside on psngr side...

G'luck!

well i could run my
y8 head with complete y8 manny "injectors come with it"
a6 dizzy
si harness
vtec controller like vafc
and that would be my obd0 y8 head on my b2 block setup right/

also how can u tell the difference between a z6 manny to a y8 manny, what do i need to look for when i go to purchase this y8 manny?

the y8'z OBD2 injs no go,see above ^ Socket/chip the pm6 (if 90-91 PM6-A09 or L09),or rpm switch/vtec controller if u must. (and an si eng harness is NOT directly plug n play w ur orig dpfi chassis/dash harness-search/try and you'll see!) Mucho easier to convert existing by adding some wires mang!

could i use a y8 "AUTO" manny for my build? even though...
An automatic D16Y8 IM uses a 3 wire IACV on the throttlebody, 5 speed models use a 2 wire unit on the back of the IM itself.
so was wondering if i could use it or anyone have a DIY on drilling the holes for the IACV on the back of the manny?
