Any F & H trans are interchangable. But, I would go with an H23 tranny; since, Honda did its math.

If you go with a F22 trans, you'll have longer gear ratio. If you go with a H22 trans, you'll have shorter gear ratio; thus, lowend torque. So, I'd say the H23 trans is best for its engine; otherwise, if you want faster acceleration, go with an H22 trans.

But, with that traction issue, you probably need better tires.

Get better tires and fix your suspension.

Nope, K & H trannies aren't interchangable. Only F & H trans.

that's probably the only exception of the F series trans, since it was designed for rwd

MFactory makes great diffs for cheaper than you can get an M2B4 of unknown condition.

try adjusting camber first, because camber tires tend to loose traction

Is that some new tire out there? Camber brand tires???
-But yes, negative camber from lowering too much will cause loss of traction.

Tires and suspension???
Your standard H22 and H23 trans have every similar ratios.......

I run an m2b4 Jdm tranny. it is the strongest stock tranny for any H series, comes stock with LSD and should give you a hand in that traction department. also better tires and suspension will do the trick.
