Hi all.I just signed up to look around for some info about my '95 del Sol Si.



Just picked it up a little while back(for $60)and this is going to become my race car.....Solo2,Targa Newfoundland and hopefully some rallyX.

What was wrong with it to get it soooo cheap?

 

I started Solo2 racing in 2006 in my new WRX

Managed to take stock class,rookie of the year and second overall in '06.In 2007 took overall club champion and also Targa Cup champion which netted me a free entry to Targa Newfoundland.Did Gran Touring first time out.

2008 saw a repeat of '07....club and Cup wins.
So for 2009 I rented this little number...

Full Targa class!
Managed a class 8 win thanks to the JDM 1.6L screaming up to 8500RPM for 6 straight days!

 

Retire your ride scam by the auto companies/govt.

I replaced pads/rotors and changed the oil.Car runs perfect,I've done about 3000 hardish KM's since....its a nice little car.



Very solid and amazingly rust free.(edit for Newfoundland!)

 

Its good to see it got a second chance at life .
