Hey guys, I got a guy that wants me to replace the rack and pinion as well as the power steering pump in his 02 Honda Accord V6... Any Ideas on what the book time is?

I have never done a power steering pump or rack on this type of honda before so does anybody have any advice? I'm going to be doing the job in my garage with a Jack and Stands..... Is this Feasable?

I am not sure about the proceduce for this honda, for the rack...... Probably just have to remove the nuckle from the rack, tie rods, lines, the 4 mounting bolts then drop the frame, a few inches and wham bam? right?? 5 Hours Labor With the Pump??? How are the pumps on these things? Easy to get at?

Any advice would be sweet!

Oh damn, its gonna be b!tch for sure. I've done a few other cars regarding rack & pinions at school. The hardest part is to get that steering knuckle back into its splines. But I'm not sure with these 02 V6 Accords though. I've seen a 06-08 V6 Accord Coupe getting one replaced, and its a PITA. I can tell you that much. GL though.
