Default 2005 Honda Accord Instrument Gauge cluster

the clear, front lens of the instrument cluster is loose and rattling. It has free movement backward about 1/8" when pressed lightly at the top.

What is the best way to dis-assemble the covering to get at fixing the loose lens?

Is there a 'best sequence' of disassembly that someone could spell out for me here?

thanks in advance.

well if its like my 07. the bezel around the cluster has 2 screws in the top, then it has to snaps at the bottom pull that out, and then you can get the screws that hold the actual cluster in. but im not sure if they are the same, so just take a look

YES, it has 2 screws at the top on the underside. I didn't know what else was holding it together. THANKS!

THANK's !! Exactly as you stated......2 screws at the top of the visor, and 2 tabs, one on each side at lower corners to hole the piece in place. Removed the screws and applied light prying pressure with a flat blade screwdriver at the lower corners and the trip piece slid right out toward the steering wheel.

I found that there is one screw at the top of the instrument cluster and 2 screws at the bottom that hold the assembly in place. The screw at the top had backed out slightly and was letting the top 'rattle' when the car hit bumps in the road. Tightened right up! Easy fix!!
