GSR tranny case crack.
I just picked up a gsr from a friend for a good price. The bad, tranny case has about a 1 inch crack in it Ive read elsewhere that JB weld would fix it up. Has anyone tried that fix? Or any other suggestions.
Thanks

I used Qwik-Steel on mine, and then put a couple layers of JBWeld on top of it. I wouldn't recommend it as a permanent fix, I only used mine until I got my new trans.
Just make sure you prep it properly, sand it down, clean with Brakleen, and then let it dry, put on filler

I wouldn't rely on it for long term use. It may work for a little while, it may work forever. Personally, I would switch the case, any B-series case will work. Just swap in your shafts, gears, and final drive and then you know your 100% reliable.
