honda prelude sh
Just picked up a 98 prelude sh, and love the h22... But i was reading on the differences on a base model and the sh model and I was wondering what parts would i have to change out to make it a base model. I want to change it because i don't want to deal with finding performance parts for the sh, like for example the headers. Also. i was reading that the aftermarket intake manifolds aren't compatible with the sh models because of the ecu. So i think it would be easier if i just removed everything and made it easier for me to build the car and motor. So i was wondering what parts would i have to change or take out to make the h22 base model?
People should really do research before buying a Prelude.
Recommended = base model. No ATTS bullshit. Most everything is related, as opposed to having look for SH specific stuff.
I also recommend swapping to some F block. H22A FRM sleves are gay.m Honda should have learned that with the B21A.

FRM sleeves are only gay for those that want to cheap out and run forged slugs in stock sleeves.
As far as ditching ATTS, do some searching....its been discussed for years.

But such a high percentage of the FRM sleeved cars do. It's pretty lame, I can only imagine what would happen with drivers who don't check their oil every few fillups.
thanks for all the comments....but it really didnt help with what i was asking....its alright tho....love the sh model...the handling is alsome....not planning to touch the motor, just the looks....might swap in a type s some day....
