Default Car sat for awhile, now fuel pump won't prime

I have an 89 DX hatchback that won't start. The car hasn't been started in about 6 months, but ran fine before then. The battery is pretty new and fully charged, and the main relay does the two clicks when the key is turned so I think it's fine too. However, the fuel pump doesn't seem to prime at all. I changed the pump a few months before the car was left to sit around and it worked just fine at the time. The car does crank, but obviously doesn't start due to a lack of fuel.

So is it a fair possibility that the fuel pump is seized up and needs to be replaced, or is there something else I can do to fix this? I'd really hate to have to pull the gas tank... again.

i have been restoring a 92 gs-r for about a year now.. When I first picked it up, the seller thought it needed a fuel pump because it sat in his parents garage for 12 months while he couldn't take it to the city where he moved.. Put the new walbro fuel pump in once I purchased it, still nothing, main relay worked, had power at the pump under back seat........ but did not have power at the pump after pulling it apart twice, we found where a rodent/mouse chewed through one of the wires on top of tank.

when i bought my ef i bought it due to the fact that the seller didnt know what was wrong with it and it was the fuel pump after we got it running it sat in my garage for about 6-7 months due that i had to save up money to pay for constant years of licence plate fees and regristration fees for the car and once i was ready to drive the car it wouldent start cause lack of fuel so what my dad did is kept spraying gas into the mani through the intake and it would start then die when it would burn that fuel obviously but we kept doing that till it started passing gas little by little then car started to idel by itself...hope this helps

Check Pump Wiring, Fuse, and Open up main relay.
