Where the hell is Eustis? About the manifold...My OBD2 manifold is the funky dx one, Im definately not useing that. And it has that wierd IAC that no other SOHC uses. What problems will I have with the z6 manifold. I'll eventually get the y8 manifold, but I just want to get it together asap. I dont have the proper ECU to run the y7 (because of the IAC) so I just wanna get it back on the road.

the IAC is on the throttle body, not the manifold...just sway the throddle body w/ one without the IAC until you can get the y8 mani and TB.

So youre saying I should use the ghey y7 IM over the z6 on the mini-me? I know the z6 mani isnt all that but its gotta be a hell of a lot better than the y7's. I can see putting the z6's TB on the y7 IM for a while to get rid of the IAC nonsense, but I plan on swapping heads either this weekend or the next. hanks for that TB sugestion and link.

no...don't use the y7 mani...go w/ the z6 or y8...all i was saying was...you could keep the y7 mani if you had too..and just switch the TB's to get rid of that IAC sensor. But the z6 is not a bad IM...but the y8 is better.
