spongy brake after bleed
when i apply pressure on my brake pedal, the first2 inches are soft but then it gets harder after that. is that normal? there are no air in my lines and i bled them starting from the further line away from the master cylinder.
thanks

did you bleed the brakes starting furthest from the master cylinder to the closest?
so bleed the right rear, then left rear, then right front, then left front and all the time make sure the cap is off the master cylinder and full of fluid?

yeah i stated that in my first post about bleeding them from the furthest one away.
on your guys' brakes, when you step on it, is it firm the instant you press on it or it starts from soft to firm and it gets firmer and firmer?

As to my brakes my car is crappy and needs a new BMC

i am wrong, here is the correct sequence...Brake bleeding sequence: 1) Driver side front, 2) passenger side front, 3) passenger side rear, 4) driver side rear.

I was actually thinking of changing to Dot 4, the Amsoil 600, they come in little quarts so i'll just buy 2-3 of them and call it a day. I probably will only need one quart but i'll keep the other 2 in the garage for future bleedings.
