vibration on 2007 Acord
I just purchased a 2007 Honda Accord with 38,000 miles. Love the car, it's my first Honda. I have noticed that when stopped at a redlight that the car vibrates. Its just strong enough to notice and seems to be worse when the AC kicks on. It only does this when in drive - not in park or neutral. Does anybody have any clues to what the problem might be? I have researched a little and motor mount seems to come up alot - could this be my problem? Or is the vibration normal?
hi there i am still experiencing the vibrations i have changed the tranny mount but still have the vibration and all of the other mounts are good....should i change them also .....hate this vibration
My advice would be to take it to a Honda service shop in your area that specializes in Honda cars. Or perhaps to a local honda dealer. There's not really any way for us here to say for sure what it is.
Perhaps it's normal? I noticed that with automatic cars in general will vibrate more in "D" when stopped at a traffic light. so it may be normal. I can't say for sure as one of the mounts *could* be bad.
Again, have a local honda shop check the car out.
